Two names you may have heard lots about, but this month sees the launch of Facebook Lite (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/8249835.stm) which may see the two services look more similar. The short, conversational and importantly simple appeal of Twitter seems to have inspired the folks at Facebook. Only available in the US and India at the moment we could see it here very soon. What’s worth considering is suddenly Twitter-like features are going to be available immediately to a large number of people, escalating the uptake of short form communications.
