Cucumber Software has recently redeveloped Fisher and Paykel Healthcare’s corporate website www.fphcare.com using the Cucumber Multilingual Content Management platform which will be launched in the next month. From a high level requirements perspective, we believe that this platform has the capability to meet the requirements for the Careers website with mostly out-of the-box functionality. This includes pre-built modules like Email Tool, Contact Manager as well as workflow, versioning, task management, user management, and a powerful editing console whereby non technical people can easily make changes on the website.

However, we are honest enough to acknowledge that technology is only part of the puzzle. The other important part is design. We believe that in order for the new site to be truly successful it is important that the chosen suppliers are experts in web design which includes understanding how the users are currently engaging with the site and in turn create a highly compelling user experience. This experience must be aligned to Fisher and Paykel’s brand positioning and connect users to the site and brand at an emotional level.
